How well do you guys do?

I can s-q-u-e-e-z-e 17+ city if I drive like I'm walking barefoot on broken glass. (Then I come back in a couple of days after my wife drove the van and
the computer shows 13.X - not really sure how she does that)

My only highway is pulling a 1200-1500lb trailer with two adults and 3 kids +some luggage. That comes in around 18-19ish averaging 65-70 (again - my foot on
eggshells).

Sorry, its been a while since I have been on. We average about 17 to 19 mixed mainly in town taking it easy, and about 24 on the highway, with one exception
trip in the mountains getting 28.7 (lots of coasting, not going over 65, etc). Yeah, the weeks I am off, the numbers are around 19 (when I drive), and more
like 16 - 17 when the wife drives. I guess the complaining helped some. It used to
be even worse, but not...

I have almost 17K on my van in 13 months of ownership. I live in Cleveland, OH, so my driving isn't the traffic nightmares of LA or NYC. A lot of 35-40mph
cruising with traffic lights but little or no true stop and go. I know there are others on this board, but I haven't heard much in a long time!

If I drive really hard, I get 17. In the city. In the middle of winter. Normal driving is around 20. On a recent trip(900 miles) I netted a high of 26.22 and a
low of 23.87. The 26 was with the GPS set at 68 MPH and light Saturday traffic. The 23 was the usual Sunday rush home! All with 2 adults and 1 child and not
one who packs light. Overall, I can't complain about the mileage, but I do read about the horror stories. P.S. don't trust the computer. I believe they
are inaccurate.
